Head of NAVER Clova Care Call
Sanghoon Ok, leader of the NAVER Cloud AI SaaS Business team, is a first-generation Java developer who served as president of the Korea Java Developers Association in 2006 and joined NAVER in 2011 as PM of the NAVER Dev Center, which provides OpenAPI. Since then, he has worked on platform business partnerships and D2 startup investments, and as a Clova evangelist in the Clova AI business team, he has been expanding the AI ecosystem and developing AI businesses.
In 2020, during the coronavirus pandemic, we launched ClovacareCall, the first AI phone to monitor corona status in Korea, in partnership with Seongnam City. As a result, in November 2021, the company took over the Clovacare Call business, an AI-based hello call service based on the first big mother AI, and in January 2024, it expanded the service to 15,000 people in 80 local governments nationwide.
